We're hiring! Computer vision researcher/Developer

Cortica, a fast-growing start-up in the field of image-recognition, is currently seeking a talented senior algorithms researcher who will take part in designing the next generation of Cortica's algorithmic engine. The algorithm developer should excel at both individual and team work. He/she should have the ability to quickly understand and pick up new technologies and algorithms, including existing infrastructure used by the team. In addition, the algorithm developer should bring creativity and innovation to the product while delivering results. Desired Skills: *PhD in CS/EE with relevant research experience. We also consider exceptional applicants with other backgrounds. *Over 2 years experience of hands-on development in the area of computer-vision. *Over 3 years experience in executive level engineering management & leadership role. *Major hands-on experience in development of real-time, embedded system is a must. *Proven track record of building strong, highly productive and cohesive engineering teams by your own contribution, professionalism and leadership. *Proven ability to drive the entire software development process from concept, architecture design, development, QA and deployment in real-time embedded environment. *Ability to connect and interact with other departments and customers.
